Explain. Adapt.
I’ll watch what you’re doing, explain the details, and help you work through the parts that aren’t clicking yet.
MEET YOUR COACH · FORREST CAUDILL

WHY I BUILT IT THIS WAY
One question guides how I coach:
“What helps someone continue making progress?”
That means giving you a clear path, paying attention to what you need, and bringing together a small team that supports one another.
My goal is to help you become a lifelong martial artist: someone who enjoys training, keeps exploring, and looks forward to coming back each week.
WHAT COACHING MEANS HERE
You don’t need to arrive knowing what you’re doing. That’s what the coaching is for.
I’ll watch what you’re doing, explain the details, and help you work through the parts that aren’t clicking yet.
Ask questions, try it again, and get feedback on what to adjust.
Your coach helps you understand what to focus on now, how it fits into the bigger picture, and what you’re working toward.
A COACH. A PATH. A TRAINING TEAM.
During semi-private lessons, we practice with bags, pads, partners, and progressive drills.
Your small JKD team is your home base: familiar training partners, focused coaching, and a shared path to follow.
At Austin Impact JKD, that means building a clear learning experience while leaving room for your questions, interests, and individual expression.
